01. There are so many things to choose from, what should be my first Calico Critter purchase?

It depends on the age of your child, but in general the best entry level item is the Cozy Cottage home which comes with some furniture and Freya Chocolate Rabbit critter. Once the child is ready for more detailed play pieces, there are lots of homes and furniture sets to choose from.

02. Can Calico Critters clothing be removed? Are there other outfits available for purchase?

Calico Critters families include a variety of figures including adults, children, babies, twins, triplets, and cradle babies.  Figures are dressed in removeable clothing and accessories that are interchangeable with figures of the same size.

03. Are there other types of Calico products I can buy for my child – books, puzzles, etc?

If you visit our website, www.calicocritters.com, you will find coloring and activity games for your child to play. These are free. We do not presently sell books, puzzles or the like.

04. How can I get a copy of an invoice?

  • Check your email history, an invoice is emailed to you at the time of purchase.
  • If you have created an account, one of the many benefits, is that you can see all of you order history.  To see a receipt, go to My Account, then Order History.  Click through any any order to see the invoice.
  • If you placed the order as a guest only, please reach out to us through the Contact Us link and we'll send you a copy shortly.

05. What's your refund policy?

Changed your mind?  If you aren't delighted with your purchase, you can return a new & unused product in its original packaging within 90 days of purchase and we will happily refund the purchase price.

It's easy to return a product.  Just send us a note using the form on the Contact Us page, and we'll walk you through the steps.

  • Please keep any emails you receive regarding your order, as they contain important information.
  • There are no restocking fees
  • Original delivery fees are refunded only if returns are for defective products, products that were not described accurately, or incorrect orders.
  • Otherwise, you are responsible for shipping the products back to us.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method.
  • Once we receive your return, we will process a refund within 14 business days to the original form of payment. Your bank may require additional time to post this transaction to your account.

08. What are the details for FREE STANDARD SHIPPING promotions?

FREE STANDARD SHIPPING promotions only apply to Ground shipping and are not available for Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
